Falun Gong ... a kind & peaceful practice;
..... why being brutally persecuted in China ! |

Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) is just a practice which includes Exercises, Meditations and Teachings that area based in: “Truthfulness – Compassion – Forbearance.”
Above all Falun Gong gives more importance on cultivating their heart, mind and character. It has no organization. Anyone could join and leave any time they want, according to their own will and choice. It is also not a religion, it has no temple, priest or rituals like religions do. Also, it has no political agenda or orientation.
Aside for it’s great teachings, in terms of physical health, Falun Gong practice has brought great benefits to many Chinese, so it becomes so popular in China. According to survey sponsored by the Chinese Government, it is about more or less 70-100 million people practice Falun Gong in China, and far exceeds the membership of the Chinese Communist Party (the Party that governs China). But the Chinese Government was threaten by those numbers, even though the teachings of Falun Gong was not to get involved in politics and only gives more importance to cultivate their innerself.
The Chinese Government support and endorsed to its own citizen Falun Gong, but it is hard to think that only because of the numbers of people practicing it, the Chinese Government, in lead of former President Mr. Jiang Zemin has done this brutal things. Some of it are beatings, burning, tying in an uncomportable positions and some brutal things that could cause death and torture. Many women had been raped inside the prisons. Even the children did not spare from some of this.
Up to now, more than 2,336 people had died because of torture. Experts believe than there is even thousands more who truly died. Thousands of innocent practitioners had been arrested on false charges. Thousands had been sent to mental hospitals and thousands had been sent to forced labor camps where being brutally persecuted and tortured. Thousands had been deprived of their jobs, education, homes and even their own families and rights, for just one simple reason ... to practice Falun Gong.
Not only innocent Falun Gong practitioners has been brutally persecuted in China, from the hands of China's Communist Party (or the Chinese Government), but also journalist, lawyers, ethnic minorities, members of spiritual and religious groups like Tibetan Buddhist, Catholic, Protestants, Muslim etc.
But opposite to this brutal persecution, not a single practitioner has hit back or retaliated in any way. While practitioners around the world and those who support them had chosen to use the peaceful and legal means to appeal to the Chinese Government to end this brutal persecution on Falun Gong. One thing that proves to the whole world how fundamentally peaceful and compassionate Falun Gong is.
Falun Gong has receives more than 1,000 awards and proclamations from Governtments and NGO’s around the world. As well as the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi, was nominated 4 times in Nobel Peace Prize. Many countries leaders, as well as community leaders supported Falun Gong. Former Pope John Paul II gives his blessings to Falun Gong.
